Futurist Mike Walsh, CEO of innovation consultancy Tomorrow and award-winning, bestselling author of Futuretainment, will deliver the keynote address at the American Association of Endodontists AAE19 meeting in Montreal, April 10-13.
Walsh will discuss the importance of adapting dentistry, practices, and small business for the 21st century. He also will summarize trends shaping the future of business and consumer behavior as well as the lessons learned from Fortune 500 companies on leveraging disruptive innovation, a data-driven mindset, and digital transformation.
After being recognized as one of Australia’s “Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30,” Walsh spent five years in senior strategy roles at News Corporation, where he helped shape the digital strategy for the company’s Australian newspaper and Asian television divisions.
Directly engaged by the CEO of Star TV to provide the company with a digital roadmap for its operations, Walsh began his in-depth research into the fast growth markets of Asia, which became the inspiration for his first book, Futuretainment.
Walsh’s latest book is The Dictionary of Dangerous Ideas, a collection of challenging concepts facing business leaders at the dawn of the 21st century. Each week, Walsh interviews proactive thinkers, innovators, and troublemakers on his weekly podcast, Between Worlds.
