Kirk Anthony Clanton has been named chief operating officer (COO) for the dental service organization (DSO) comprised of Godley Station Dental, Satilla Family Smiles, and Lexington Family Smiles, owned by chief executive officer (CEO) Dr. Matthew Allen and chief financial officer (CFO) Melinda Allen.

As COO, Clanton will serve on the executive leadership team, managing the day-to-day operations of each practice, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care. Clanton will provide leadership in key areas, including financial and business performance, team leadership and development, and quality assurance. He will also drive the adoption of technology and innovative solutions and support the CEO in developing and executing the DSO’s growth and expansion strategy.

A native of Savannah, Clanton comes to Godley Station Dental from South Coast Medical Group, where he served as director of operations for the Multispecialty Group. He earned his Master of Public Administration and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
Clanton brings more than 25 years of experience implementing financial controls to drive overall corporate performance and improve processes.
During his career, he has served as a practice administrator in various hospital and healthcare settings, including St. Joseph’s/Candler Medical Group, Urological Associates of Savannah, Urological Surgery Center of Savannah, and Memorial Health. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Olivia and Andrew. They reside on Wilmington Island.
