The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) will present its 2016 Annual Conference in San Diego, Calif, June 2 to June 5. The event will focus on new infection prevention tools and updates on emerging and re-emerging diseases like Zika and measles. It also will address top compliance and safety issues while offering resources, expert guidance, networking opportunities, and evidence-based solutions.
Nationally recognized author, speaker, and TED presenter Andy Goodman will teach professionals how to use storytelling techniques to improve the impact of their communications, which is essential in conveying the importance of infection control. There also will be Compliance Briefs, or 5-minute workshops covering topics like writing instructions for use, infection control certification, and more.
Additionally, there will be in-depth lectures, interactive learning sessions, and tightly focused programs designed for educators and consultants. Top companies in infection prevention and safety will exhibit their products. Entertainment will include a docent-led tour of the dental facilities aboard the USS Midway and the “Fun’d Raising Auction,” featuring dozens of items and experiences.
The conference is open to educators, infection control coordinators, consultants, compliance officers, risk managers, researchers, policy makers, sterilization technicians, and other professionals in dental clinics, private practices, group practices, hospitals, universities, government facilities, and manufacturers.
Attendees who register by April 30 will receive a discount. For more information, go to osap.org.
