Amherst, NY…Ivoclar Vivadent announces that for each pink Bluephase® Style curing light sold during the month of October, $100 will be donated to breast cancer research. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Ivoclar Vivadent will also show its support by distributing buttons and tearpads among its dealer representatives that promote the company’s initiative to help in the fight against breast cancer.
“By continuing to offer our award-winning Bluephase® Style curing lights and donating a portion of the proceeds, we at Ivoclar Vivadent believe we can help to fund the research that is so vital to finding a cure,” said Robert A. Ganley, CEO of Ivoclar Vivadent.
The Bluephase® Style LED curing light is the latest advancement in dental curing lights. Its Polywave™ technology provides the broadest spectrum available on the market, allowing it to cure all known dental materials, and its specially designed light probe easily accesses posterior teeth. The Bluephase® Style can be used cordless or corded, and its slim design and intuitive two-button operation is lightweight, very small, and cures all.
The pink Bluephase® Style will be highlighted at the Ivoclar Vivadent booth during the 2013 American Dental Association (ADA) Annual Session in New Orleans, LA, from October 31 through November 3.

While there is still much to learn about breast cancer, the aggressive and deadly disease that took the lives of more than 234,000 people in the United States last year, the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health reports a steady decline in breast cancer deaths since 1990. Advancements in diagnosis and treatment are credited for the decline.
