Ms. Duncan is a speaker and writer with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She received her master’s degree in healthcare management from Marymount University. She is a member of the National Speakers’ Association, National Association of Dental Plans, and the American Association of Dental Office Management. Her speaking topics include dental insurance workshops and manager training. She focuses on strengthening the business skills of the practice leader. Teresa has been awarded Educator of the Year by the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and a Dental Industry Champion Award by Vyne/National Electronic Attachment. She is the author of Moving Your Patients to Yes: Easy Insurance Conversations and host of the Nobody Told Me That! and Chew On This! Podcasts. Teresa is frequently published in the ADA’s Practice Success newsletter, Dr. Bicuspid, and AADOM’s The Observer. She is a yearly contributing author to the ADA’s CDT Companion Guides and most recently provided consulting assistance in the development of the American Dental Association’s Guidelines for Practice Success.
