Dr. Pick received his dental degree, certificate of residency in periodontics, and his master’s degree all from Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Pick is currently engaged in full-time private practice of periodontics and implants in Chicago. He is also a member of the attending staff of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a clinical associate professor of surgery at Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Pick is a Fellow in both the American and International Colleges of Dentists, and a member of both the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Dental Society. He is CEO of the Pick Group, which is a practice management firm designed to yield a happy, healthy, and wealthy practice. Pick Consulting focuses on mission, vision, growth, goal setting and attainment, system operations and organization, and creation of a great team environment, especially in a bad economy. He presents motivational and educational programs internationally on the topics of perio-restorative, lasers, and practice management. He has published numerous articles in scientific literature and has been featured on live closed circuit TV programs at the Chicago Dental Society and at the Hinman Dental Meetings. He is an official spokesperson for the ADA. Dr. Pick has frequently been featured in the broadcast and print media including Good Morning America, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Chicago Tribune and Sun Times, CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, CNN, Ladies Home Journal, and others, even The National Enquirer.
