Ms. Wadsworth owns Lisa C. Wadsworth, Inc, a company focused on consulting and personal coaching for the dental community. With more than 3 decades of experience in the implant and periodontal arena, she began her career as a dental assistant and progressed to a certification in implant surgical assisting, a degree in dental hygiene, and a BS in psychology. Ms. Wadsworth has received Fellowship status with the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries, has served as a dental hygiene educator for OraPharma, and is recognized by Philips/Sonicare as a Key Opinion Leader. She lectures on a national scale on topics including oral-systemic links, collaboration between physicians and dentists, implant dentistry, periodontal protocols, professional development, and ergonomics. As a speaker, she has been honored by Dentistry Today as a Leader in Continuing Education since 2007, and she is a recent addition to the Dental Advisory Board. Ms. Wadsworth also served as a contributing editor for Modern Hygienist from 2005 to 2007. She has been published in such journals as Dentistry Today, RDH, Dental Assisting Digest, Dental Practice Report, and The Profitable Dentist. She is also on the speaker selection committee for Pennwell’s RDH Under One Roof conference.
