More practices are using 3-D printing to produce surgical guides for implant dentistry. The South Beach Dental Training Institute is offering “3D Printing & Surgical Guides,” a course designed to teach the basics of creating and printing in-office surgical guides. It will focus on the planning and preparation behind guided surgery. It also will include a demonstration and hands-on work. By the end of the course, all participants will have printed their first computer guides. Sessions are scheduled for September 7, 2018 in Miami, October 20, 2018 in Washington, DC, and February 1, 2019 in Los Angeles. Tuition is $995.
