3M is expanding its APC Flash-Free Adhesive Coated Appliance System with its Victory Series Low Profile Brackets, which will be available in August. According to the company, the lineup eliminates the flash removal step from bracket bonding, saving significant time without compromising bond strength.
Along with the Clarity ADVANCED Ceramic Brackets, the SmartClip SL3, Clarity SL Self-Litigating Appliance Systems, and Victory Series Superior Fit Buccal Tubes, the new brackets enable dentists to move directly from placement to cure without removing adhesive flash.
Also, patients treated with 3M brackets that include APC Flash-Free Adhesive benefit from added protection for tooth enamel and a quicker and easier debonding appointment, 3M says. Saving time and simplifying procedures is key to maintaining a profitable practice as well, the company adds.
Additionally, 3M will introduce enhancements to the SmartClip SL3 Self-Ligating Appliance System for improved rotational control and reduction in engagement and disengagement forces. By continuously incorporating user feedback, 3M says, the company is perfecting an arsenal of products that enhance efficiency, improve the patient experience, and simplify procedures.
Industry experts will discuss their experience with these products along with tips and tricks for use at 3M’s booth, #1321, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 at the American Association of Orthodontists 2016 Annual Session in Orlando. Topics will include Class II Correction, aesthetics, and digital and lingual orthodontics.
