Edwin J. McDonough has been named president of Planmeca USA. Previously, he was chief executive officer at McDonough Medical Products Corporation. According to Planmeca, he has a proven track record of leading and developing several healthcare technology corporations, such as Progeny and GENDEX, both specializing in dental imaging equipment.
“Through decades of experience in health technology, Ed McDonough has a thorough understanding of the North American healthcare technology market and brings valuable insight into the company,” said Heikki Kyöstilä, president and founder of Planmeca Group.
“Being a true professional in strategic leadership and business planning, he will strengthen the management team of Planmeca in the United States and will help take the business to the next level,” said Kyöstilä.
