The Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA) will host the 2019 Arkansas Mission of Mercy (ArMOM) on April 12 and 13 at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Springdale, Arkansas. Assisted by volunteers and sponsors, members of the ASDA will provide free care to underserved state residents, including adults and children alike.

Doors will open at 6 am each day for cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with no income or eligibility requirements. Since ArMOM’s launch in 2007, more than 22,000 patients have been treated, including about 33,000 extractions and more than 14,500 fillings for a total of $12.5 million worth of free care.

ASDA is now looking for general volunteers and volunteer health professionals including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and pharmacists. Sponsors include Tyson Foods and the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation. Sponsorships are still available as well. For more information, visit arkansasmissionofmercy.org or call (800) 501-2732.
