OPT-In Management, LLC , and Dental Wings, Inc. finalized a strategic marketing agreement to help improve productivity and profitability for OPT-In members. In response, 90% of OPT-In members in the market for scanners purchased Dental Wings 3Series and 7Series scanners. Group training took place at the BEGO Production Center, located in Rhode Island, in early September.
During the training, Dental Wings Vice President of Marketing, Steven Touchie presented Dr. Dean Mersky, founder of OPT-In Dental Laboratory Cooperative, with a check to help support the cooperative’s commitment to growth through marketing and education. “Successfully transitioning from analog to digital for small labs involves much more than CAD/CAM alone.” said Touchie. “We want to contribute in creating an education and support system that empowers small labs to embark on this journey with proven winning strategies and skill sets. In my view, the OPT-In community, with its collaborative culture, makes this possible. We are proud to be involved.”
Using their new scanners, OPT-In members sent their scan & design STL files to the BEGO Production Center and received BruxZir crowns and SLM copings and bridge frames for immediate try-in. BEGO USA and the OPT-In Dental Laboratory cooperative formed their strategic alliance early in 2013.
“With the incredible generosity and support of BEGO and Dental Wings, our members were able to design an esthetic anterior restoration as well as a full-contour posterior and laser sintered three-unit metal bridge framework for their immediate review and feedback,” said Mersky. “The members of OPT-In are fully committed and will continue to invest in those companies that support their business growth, and help us provide a higher level of service for private practitioners.”
