ANNAPOLIS, MD—September 15, 2011—The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has signed on as a Supporting Partner with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC) and other associations to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW), October 16-22, 2011.
“IIPW activities bring greater attention to the importance of infection prevention and honor the professionals who deliver healthcare to patients safely,” said Therese Long, OSAP Executive Director. OSAP is proud to be part of a global network that is targeting this week to highlight and promote the importance of patient and provider safety,” she said.
