The RAMVAC brand from DentalEZ Integrated Solutions will distribute the Hg5 line of amalgam separator systems and containers from Solmetex LLC under the RAMVAC name. The partnership also enables RAMVAC to provide a line of amalgam separator systems and containers that comply with anticipated Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations expected to be in effect beginning December 2016.
“We are pleased that our renewed relationship with Solmetex not only works for both companies but, more importantly, allows us to provide an efficient and powerful solution for our dental clients,” said Heather Trombley, president and chief operating officer of DentalEZ Integrated Solutions.
According to Solmetex, the Hg5 lineup meets or exceeds all state and federal requirements for the safe removal of mercury in the dental office. The series includes the Hg5, the Hg5mini for small offices, the Hg5HV for high volumes, and the Recycling Kit for easy disposal. All devices also are ISO 11143 certified at greater than 99%. They are functional for wet or dry vacuum systems as well.
