Planmeca USA, a leading manufacturer of dental imaging and CAD/CAM equipment, announced the launch of a new wet/dry chairside mill – the Planmeca PlanMill 35.
The new Planmeca PlanMill 35 is one of three key components of the Planmeca FIT CAD/CAM system – all of which have been dramatically improved. The new mill is perfect for any dental practice looking to provide single-visit dentistry to their patients.
Doctors can enjoy freedom in material selection from zirconia, glass and hybrid ceramics, composites, and more. Enhancements to the Planmeca Emerald S include a dramatic increase in scanning speed, improved accuracy and ease-of-use. Lastly, the Planmeca PlanCAD software has become more fully integrated into the Planmeca Romexis platform and allows clinicians to design a crown in minutes.
“With the advances in our CAD/CAM portfolio, Planmeca is able to provide the right solution for any sized dental practice,” said Ed McDonough, President at Planmeca USA. “We have two excellent systems that can help doctors take their practice to the next level in digital dentistry — the new Planmeca FIT system and the Planmeca FIT Plus. As a company, we are putting a tremendous amount of resources in our CAD/CAM line to enable clinicians to provide the kind of services their patients expect. This is going to be a big year for us and for our customers.”
The new Planmeca FIT system was exhibited at booth #1219 at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Attendees were able to stop by and learn more about all of Planmeca’s innovative products and offerings and see this new mill in action.
