The SLASH 2 and SLASH 2J 3-D printers from UNIZ operate at up to 1,200 mm an hour, compared to the industry average of 20 to 5 mm an hour, according to the company. Also, the printers boast accuracies of 49.5 and 32.8 µm. Plus, the printers offer a build volume that’s up to three times larger than other printers, UNIZ reports, allowing them to handle a wider variety of tasks. Each printer has an 8.9-inch high-resolution LCD screen and can produce 376 rings per print as well. UNIZ expects to launch the SLASH 2 and SLASH 2J in the first half of 2019, with pricing details forthcoming.
