The Oransi Mod Air Purifier removes 99.6% of virus-sized particles and airborne particulates as well as allergens, dust, bacteria, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke from a 1,250-square-foot room twice an hour, according to the company.

With a low-profile exterior and cylindrical shape designed to fit anywhere in a room, it features a super-quiet, high-efficiency motor and an intuitive swipe-touch glass control system as well, according to the company.

“We’re excited to introduce our new portable HEPA air purifier Mod with its high-performance filter that captures nano-sized particles and features sleek styling with an intuitive user interface,” said Oransi CEO Peter Mann.

“Mod has many of the same benefits as our bestselling EJ120 Air Purifier that was purchased by the Javits Center in New York for their COVID field hospital, but Mod has a more attractive price point,” said Mann.

“In addition, Mod cleans the air in a room more efficiently than a UV lamp. It’s also extremely quiet, which is important as so many people are spending more time at home and don’t want to listen to a loud appliance running,” Mann said.

Users simply side a finger along the fan speed arc to set the precise airflow, Oransi said. The Mod also weighs 23 pounds and measures 14 inches wide and deep by 25 inches high, so it can be moved from room to room and fit anywhere.

Also, with its glass user interface, cylindrical shape, and orange carry handle and filter handle, users never have to touch the dirty filter, Oransi said. The Mod is Energy Star Certified and Association Home Appliance Manufacturers Verified Smoke CADR: 338 as well.

The Mod Air Purifier costs $599 with free shipping.
