Ronvig has named Aspetico the exclusive distributor for its CALAJECT Computer Assisted Local Anesthesia delivery systems in the United States. CALAJECT administers local anesthesia more comfortably than a manual syringe by regulating the flow rate of the anesthetic automatically, according to the companies.
CALAJECT’s touch controls are designed to be easy and simple to operate. It displays the actual injection pressure, including automatic shut-off in case of excessive resistance. Auditory signals indicate the flow rate. Also, it’s operated by a separate foot control included with the unit. No disposables are necessary either, as it uses standard dental needles and anesthesia carpules.
“We are delighted to have been chosen as the exclusive USA distributor for CALAJECT,” said Bob Giantonio, Aspetico product manager. “CALAJECT is a significant improvement over previous computer assisted anesthesia devices on the market.”
