With 24 panoramic and 32 CBCT options, the device covers many clinical applications including implantology, endodontics, TMJ, and sinus imaging, Acteon reports. Practitioners also can scan 3-D objects such as plaster models and silicone impressions to open a range of new possibilities.
When equipped with Acteon Imaging Suite precision software, the unit also provides advanced functionality, the company reports. Intuitive image handling and state-of-the-art tools simplify implant planning, Acteon says. Also, customized reports are designed to improve communication. Adapted to the practitioner’s workflow, the solution facilitates diagnosis, according to the company, ensuring accurate, reliable, and rapid treatment.
Lightweight and compact, the wall-mounted X-Mind prime is designed to adapt to all office space configurations without taking up floor space. It is delivered preassembled to the office and installed by a single specialist technician in less than an hour, so it does not interfere with the daily workload.
Patients are positioned face to face with the user while in operation. The simplified control panel located under the chin support allows simple and accurate handling. Based on the type of operation selected, automatic chin support recognition allows error-free patient positioning, which saves significant time for practitioners in their daily tasks, Acteon says. And, the X-Mind prime is available in a panoramic-only version.
