The NSK iProphy Mobile cordless hygiene handpiece is designed for steady operation. Weighing 90 grams, it produces less wrist stress and provides better access to hard to reach places, NSK reports. It also operates at 57.8 dBA to be easy on the user’s ears. It boasts 2.0 torque as well with two modes: steady fixed rotations in five speeds from 500 to 2,500 rpm or one-touch variable speed, with no foot control and stable rotations throughout any procedure. The iProphy Mobile also accommodates any disposable prophy angle While 50 custom disposable sleeves are included, any sleeve that’s close in size may be used. And, the handpiece includes a three-year warranty, including the battery. It comes with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $799. NSK is offering a launch special that includes a box of 500 custom prophy sleeves and a box of 144 Preventech Pivot Plus prophy angles free with each handpiece.
