Designs for Vision has added High Definition Imaging (HDi) to the LED DayLite WireLess Mini, providing a lightweight, cordless solution with light intensity comparable to corded headlights, the company reports. HDi offers an advanced photonic design that provides uniform light distribution with maximal intensity, according to Designs for Vision, and the patent-pending design optically focuses the light from the LED to provide 45% more light with uniform distribution. The company’s WireLess headlights also are designed to free users from being tethered to a battery pack. The simple modular designs uncouple the headlights from a specific frame or single pair of loupes as well. The compact design of the LED DayLite WireLess headlights is independent of any frame/loupes.
