Rhondium’s Rhondair Aerosol Capture System is a powerful vacuum and filtration device that effectively captures dental aerosols at the source, preventing the spread of airborne pathogens during procedures, according to the company. Certified HEPA filters remove 99.95% of all particles as small as 0.3 μm. The Rhondair is available in two configurations, including a freestanding floor unit that is small enough to fit to the left of the end of the dental chair and an almost-silent, in-ceiling unit that can also create a continuous negative pressure room environment.
