VOCO continues its expansion into the CAD/CAM material technology market with three additional shade options in the Grandio disc line, B1, C2, and Bleach (BL). Grandio disc is VOCO’s 86%-filled nanoceramic hybrid CAD/CAM disc for the milling of crowns, inlays and onlays, veneers, and implant-supported crowns.
Grandio discs offer a combination of optimal, tooth-like physical properties, compressive strength, low water absorption, no shrinkage factor for 20% more output, and natural aesthetics with enhanced color stability, VOCO says. These physical properties are designed so the Grandio disc mimics human dentition, such as a tooth-like modulus of elasticity and thermal expansion. The unique, nanoceramic hybrid composition enable Grandio discs to be more finely milled and achieve a greater accuracy of fit, according to the company, while also providing excellent polishability and aesthetics comparable to pure ceramic CAD/CAM discs or blocks.
