The EdgeEndo EdgeTaper Platinum assortment of shaping and finishing files uses heat-treated FireWire NiTi to produce 90° curves. Also, EdgeEndo says that FireWire NiTi doesn’t bounce back, preserving apical anatomy. The EdgeTaper files boast twice the cyclic fatigue as ProTaper Gold and six times that of ProTaper as well, the company says. Files are available in 21-, 25-, and 31-mm lengths.
