VOCO’s Admira Fusion x-base, an all-ceramic-based flowable base restorative, is designed to be fast, reliable, strong, and easy to use. Due to its extremely low shrinkage and shrinkage stress, it can be used to place increments of up to 4 mm in just one working step without layering, VOCO reports. It is suitable for Class I and II cavity linings and Class III and V restorations.
Thanks to its flowability, the highly viscous Admira Fusion x-base is easy to apply without any undesirable dripping, according to VOCO. The self-levelling restorative adapts optimally to the prepared cavity walls, the company says, for a stable and aesthetic restoration.
Also, VOCO says that Admira Fusion x-base’s innovative nano-ORMOCER technology makes it the only flowable lining material that is completely based on silicon oxide (resin matrix and fillers). Its high filler content creates extremely low shrinkage and shrinkage stress, the company adds. Containing no classic monomers, Admira Fusion x-base is 100% BPA free and is designed to deliver a new level of biocompatibility that, in turn, minimizes the risk of allergic reactions.
