Clinicians now can pair Dentsply Sirona’s Primescan intraoral scanner with Panthera Dental’s technology to create custom Digital Sleep Apnea Device (D-SAD) Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs) for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.
Primescan enables complete and accurate full-arch scans in as little as one minute to give dentists immediate control of 3D models, the companies said. This accuracy and quality, then, provides reliable data to create D-SAD sleep devices, saving time and nearly eliminating the necessity for adjustments during patient visits, the companies added. Dentsply Sirona’s Connect Case Center quickly and securely transfers data to Panthera Dental, the companies said.
