Glidewell is showcasing the Vatech Green CT 2 system at its campus in Irvine, California. The Green CT 2 is designed to improve patient care through low-dose X-ray radiography that provides more precise diagnostic images. Glidewell will use the Green CT 2 in its virtual and in-person continuing education courses.

“This system is a practitioner’s dream. It results in significantly lower radiation, supporting patients’ safety, while delivering high-quality images for accurate diagnosis,” said Park.
The Green CT 2 is an advanced four-in-one digital X-ray imaging system that incorporates PANO, CEPH, CBCT, and 3-D model scans, Glidewell said. Its signature combination of ultra-low-dose scanning technology and superb diagnostic images reflects Vatech’s expertise in digital dental radiography products, Glidewell continued.
To limit exposure, dentists can choose the most relevant field of view (FOV) size from five options, each tailored to suit distinct diagnostic needs. The Green CT 2’s Multi FOV feature ranges from a 5×5 FOV size, suitable for single implants and endodontic procedures, to an 18×10 FOV for sinus and temporomandibular joint evaluations.
The scan times are efficient as well, Glidewell said, clocking in at 1.9 seconds for CEPH, 4.9 seconds for CBCT, and 7 seconds for PANO.
