ARKRAY USA’s SiLL-Ha Oral Wellness System is designed to complement clinical assessment of patients’ oral health. It provides clinical measurements in three areas—tooth health, gum health, and oral cleanliness—that dentists can discuss with their patients.

With a small sample, the SiLL-Ha uses dual reflectance to measure reactivity on a test strip to provide an objective measurement of key components of saliva that cannot be seen and have been used to show an increased risk of developing caries and periodontal disease:

  • Cariogenic bacteria
  • Acidity
  • Buffer capacity
  • Blood
  • Leukocytes
  • Proteins
  • Ammonia

With a compact and lightweight design, the SiLL-Ha suits use in busy dental offices, the company reports. Its touchscreen is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Test results are available in less than five minutes and can be printed or saved to a digital format.
