Planmeca USA’s ProSensor HD intraoral sensors (three sizes: 0,1, and 2) offer high-definition imaging with a theoretical resolution of 33 lp/mm. They can integrate with a Planmeca ProX intraoral x-ray system or be connected through Ethernet or USB port. The ProSensor HD also features a fiber-optic layer to capture sharp, low-noise, and high-contrast images. A sophisticated magnetic connector permits one-hand attachment, and its white sensor color enhances visibility for positioning. Rounded edges improve patient comfort. Optimizing endurance, the sensor cable has been reinforced and only includes a pair of wires. Color-coded LED lighting provides visual feedback for the imaging procedure. And, the sensor is hermetically sealed for infection control.
