The Air Techniques ProVecta 3D Prime generates a unique 130- x 85-mm equivalent, jaw-shaped volume that encompasses all treatment areas without imaging non-relevant anatomy. It enables clinicians to easily capture the third molars with a lower dose than 80- x 80-mm volumes, according to the company. Also, its 2-D panoramic imaging offers 17 programs. The high-resolution CsI flat panel sensor creates high-quality 3-D and 2-D images in 50- x 50-mm volumes in 80- or 120-μm resolution, Air Techniques reports. The intuitive touchpad, laser guidance, and patient positioning simplify image capturing as well, the company says.
