The elementsfree obturation system is a cordless, battery-operated version of the original Elements Obturation System. It comprises a downpack and motorized backfill unit, utilizes the continuous wave obturation technique, and is designed for use with the warm, vertical condensation technique. The downpack heats to 200°C in fewer than 0.5 seconds and has an adjustable heating range of 100°C to 400°C. Extrusion of gutta-percha is automated.
