Sterngold has announced new implant lengths and diameters for its MOR Mini Dental Implant System, which the company says is equivalent to 3M/IMTEC MDI. The additions include 2.1-mm diameter by 18-mm length, 2.4-mm diameter by 18-mm length, and 3.0-mm diameter by 10-mm, 13-mm, 15-mm, and 18-mm lengths. These options join the previously available 2.1-mm by 10-mm, 13-mm, and 15-mm lengths and the 2.4-mm diameter by 10-mm, 13-mm, and 15-mm length implants.
Designed to give clinicians more versatility and options, the series is available inside the United States only. The MOR Mini Implant System also is the only implant system available in the Carestream Implant Library. It joins the Sterngold TRU, which the company says is substantially equivalent to the Nobel Biocare Conical Connection, and the PUR, which is substantially equivalent to the Zimmer Tapered Screw-Vent Connection, implant systems as downloadable options in the Carestream Implant Library.
