KaVo’s ELECTROmatic motor system is designed to make electric handpieces easy for dentists to use without compromising performance. It features constant torque, controlled speed, quiet operation, and increased versatility to make the transition to electric handpieces easier than ever, according to the company.
With its constant speed and torque, the ELECTROmatic allows precise preparations at the defined speed, KaVo reports. It’s designed so users can easily adjust the speed on the control system display for a wide range of indications. In combination with KaVo handpieces, the company’s electric systems provide stable control from 2 to 200,000 rpm for efficient and highly precise work. And, the ELECTROmatic’s intuitive user interface offers a simple design and clear picture indications to make the switch to electrics stress-free. The ELECTROmatic series has 3 options:
- The ELECTROmatic represents the entry into the world of KaVo electrics. It allows speed control with the foot control, just like an air-driven high-speed handpiece. It’s designed to pair perfectly with the COMFORTdrive 200XDR high-speed handpiece, now with increased speed range for some low-speed applications.
- The ELECTROmatic Premium is an all-in-one device with a color touchscreen for intuitive handling and integrated endo function. It’s available with one or 2 motors for perfect workflow efficiency, so there’s no need to change attachments to switch from high speed to low speed. Also, its preprogrammed file systems are designed to make it easy for users to plan or customize their endodontic protocol.
- The ELECTROmatic Plus is designed to be the ideal solution for all high-speed and low-speed applications. It offers all of the benefits of the ELECTROmatic with perfect control and programmable speed settings, according to KaVo. Also, its LCD and multiple mounting options are designed for visibility and comfortable access for adjusting the motor speed settings.
Additionally, KaVo designed the system to make installation as easy as possible so dentists can upgrade their existing delivery unit within minutes. The plug-and-play system connects to standard air tubing and automatically adjusts to the air pressure of the existing dental unit. Plus, the ELECTROmatic can be installed in many positions for optimal integration with the treatment unit.
