The Kerr Endodontics elementsfree obturation system is a cordless, battery-operated version of the original Elements Obturation System. It comprises a Downpack and motorized Backfill unit, utilizes the continuous wave obturation technique, and is designed for use with the warm, vertical condensation technique. The Downpack heats to 200°C in fewer than 0.5 seconds. It has an adjustable heating range of 100°C to 400°C, and extrusion of gutta-percha is automated. A 360° one-touch activation/deactivation ring heats the plugger while cartridges are single-use.
