Planmeca will partner with Patterson Dental, Atlanta Dental Supply, Burkhart Dental Supply, Midway Dental Supply, and Nashville Dental to distribute its CAD/CAM portfolio in North America, including the Emerald intraoral scanner, PlanCAD design software, and PlanMill 40 S, as well as the Romexis Compare Adaptive Learning software for the educational market.
“As the demand for our chairside dentistry solutions like the Planmeca FIT increases, it’s vital we work with industry partners that can supply a high level of support and innovative products and service that is expected within the marketplace,” said Brett Hines, Planmeca USA president.
According to Planmeca, users need affordable, ultra-fast intraoral scanning as well as a way to easily connect, share, and control their practice workflows. While some practices might want to scan and send to their labs, others want to offer same-day dentistry, the company explained, noting that its CAD/CAM solutions address both of these needs.
“Adding Planmeca’s CAD/CAM portfolio brings all the components of the digital workflow together with the power and control of Romexis software,” said Tom Richardson, president of Atlanta Dental Supply. “We are now able to help our clients evaluate and add each component of the workflow at a time that’s best for their practice while providing the full support and personal care they need.”
“The Planmeca partnership reflects the values and integrity that Burkhart Dental represents to our clients. We are excited to add and grow the CAD/CAM product line with them,” said Michael Norton, director of equipment and technology, corporate, at Burkhart Dental Supply.
“We look forward to our new collaboration with Planmeca CAD/CAM. With the addition of Planmeca products, we can continue to provide dental innovations to our customers and in improved customer experience,” said Steven Kizy, president and CEO of Midway Dental Supply.
“Planmeca has consistently provided our customers with the best in technology for imaging products, and now with the Planmeca FIT system, we extend that commitment to excellence in digital CAD/CAM dentistry,” said Todd Brown, vice president of equipment with Nashville Dental.
“Patterson Dental has a reputation for excellence not only in product offerings but with customer relationships and service. Planmeca and its line of CAD/CAM products mirror the level of excellence that we are continuously striving for. We are excited and look forward to building a thriving partnership with Planmeca,” said Dave Misiak, president of Patterson Dental North America.
