The Kerr Endodontics TF Adaptive features Adaptive Motion Technology, which uses a patented feedback algorithm to change the motion of the file based on the applied load. As the stress increases or decreases, the motor responds accordingly to provide the benefits of both rotary and reciprocation at exactly the right moment, Kerr Endodontics says. Also, the TF Adaptive files are up to 70% more flexible than other files on the market and are the only endodontic files that are twisted, rather than ground, into their shape, according to the company. This makes them up to 58% more resistant to fracture than other leading file systems, Kerr Endodontics says. The color-coded system is designed for efficiency and ease of use as well.
