The offerings in Ivoclar Vivadent’s Efficient Esthetics Product Portfolio are designed to help dentists achieve high-quality restorations with greater efficiency and predictability. Comprising the Tetric Evo-Line family of composites, Adhese Universal adhesive, the Bluephase Style LED curing light, and the OptraGate lip and cheek retractor, the product combination reduces working steps by up to 58% without compromising restoration durability, the company says.
The Tetric Evo-Line family includes four coordinated resins for direct restorative needs with refractive index technology in true A-D shades. The Sculptable Tetric EvoCeram and flowable Tetric EvoFlow are universal 2-mm layering composites for anterior and posterior restorations. Both can be used for 4-mm bulk placement in the posterior region to save clinicians up to 47% of placement time compared to conventional composites, according to the company.
With the single-component, light-cured Adhese Universal for direct and indirect bonding procedures and all etching protocols, bond strengths greater than 25 MPa can be achieved. The only universal bonding agent in the VivaPen Adhese Universal achieves predictable results with virtually no sensitivity, Ivoclar Vivadent says, while simultaneously promoting cost-effective and efficient use, with three times more applications per milliliter compared to bottles.
Designed specifically for intraoral polymerization of light-curing dental materials, the Bluephase Style high-powered Polywave LED curing light features a 10-mm probe that covers the surface of most preparations in one cycle. Clinically proven to effectively cure all materials, the high-powered Bluephase Style LEDs allow for complete, reliable curing in just 10 seconds, the company reports.
The single-use, latex-free OptraGate lip and cheek retractor offers unique flexibility and elasticity that make it quick and easy for dental professionals to place and comfortable for patients to wear, Ivoclar Vivadent says. It is available in junior, small, and regular sizes for a variety of applications, including intraoral scanning and restorative treatments. It also promotes increased access and visibility of the treatment field and improves treatment efficiency, says the company.
