Dr. Andreas Syrek currently serves as the 3M ESPE Global Clinical Research Manager in Seefeld, Germany. Prior to his corporate employment, Dr. Syrek was a general practitioner in a private dental practice from 1996-2006. In 2006 he began working for 3M ESPE. He also held the positions of researcher, lecturer and clinician at the Department of Prosthodontic Dentistry at the University of Münster in Germany. Dr. Syrek has also served as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom since 2008. Dr. Syrek received a doctoral degree in dental medicine from the University of Münster in 1992, and a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Birmingham in 2006. Dr. Syrek has published articles in a variety of dental publications and is a frequent speaker with the International Association for Dental Research on various dental topics.
