It also supports more locations and larger referral networks while providing better controls for internal and external users, MouthWatch LLC reports, enabling it to better adapt to rapidly growing group practices and public health programs across a range of settings.
Additionally, the MouthWatch TeleDent Integration Services Team helps clients connect the TeleDent API with their existing practice management, digital imaging, and EHR systems, ensuring proper installation and implementation, the company says. Noting the challenges of using teledentistry for live collaboration and accommodating the schedules of each clinician on the care team, TeleDent 2.0 supports appointment management for teledentistry encounters as well. It requires a MouthWatch intraoral camera for best results and can use virtually any Windows 10 tablet or laptop for local data collection and image capture. Current TeleDent clients will be upgraded to 2.0 free of charge.
