In conjunction with the recent launch of its newly rebranded North American division, Helse Ultrasonic, manufacturer of ultrasonic tips for Latin American clinicians since 2012, has released 3 ultrasonic tips designed specifically for the endodontic market.

The E11 Heatsonic, a .05 taper/20 ISO insert, is designed for thermoplasticizing gutta-percha in the most apical portion of the canal. To avoid accidental use of water during the procedures, its tip does not have a water port.

The R1 Clearsonic tip, used for selective cleaning of areas left untouched by traditional files, is designed for retreatments, especially in oval shaped canals. It’s also very effective in the removal of gutta-percha, according to the company.

The R2 Flatsonic tip, used for selective cleaning of areas left untouched by traditional files, suits retreatments, especially in long oval canals where even the R1 Clearsonic will not fit. It’s very effective in the removal of gutta-percha as well, Helse Ultrasonic reports.
