IonoStar Plus is a fast-setting, radiopaque glass ionomer restorative that offers immediate packability, nonstick handling, and enhanced physical properties. Designed to reduce or remove many of the headaches associated with glass ionomer restoratives, IonoStar Plus comes in a new, easy-to-use, direct-activation application capsule that fits virtually all branded glass ionomer applicators. As IonoStar Plus is applied into the restoration, it offers 2 stages of consistency that initially provide ideal wettability for perfect marginal adaptability, and then immediate packability with nonstick handling for condensing and shaping. It has an abbreviated working time of 1 minute and a setting time of 2 minutes, enabling the practitioner to move quickly when needed.
