The Dental Board of California mandates continuing education in the California Dental Practice Act and in infection control for license and permit renewal each cycle. Dental professionals who need these credits can take advantage of daily sessions at CDA Presents in Anaheim.
Jessica R. Wilson, MPH, will present Infection Control on Thursday, May 4 and on Friday, May 5, both from 7 to 9 am. Nancy Dewhirst, RDH, also will present Infection Control on Friday, May 5 from 1 to 3 pm, and Tricia Osuna, RDH, will present it on Saturday, May 6 from 11 am to 1 pm.
Sherry Mostofi, Esq., will present the California Dental Practice Act on Thursday, May 4 from 5 to 7 pm and on Friday, May 5 from 10 am to noon. Arthur W. Curley, JD, will present it on Friday, May 5 from 4 to 6 pm and on Saturday, May 6 from 8 to 10 am.
Each session is worth 2 CE credits and covers dental board requirements, except for unlicensed dental assistants, who need to take the specific 8-hour course to fulfill their infection control education requirements. Also, each session costs $25.
