Pomona, NY (November 12, 2010) Dr. Marvin A. Fier recently spoke at the American Dental Association’s (ADA) Annual Meeting in Orlando Florida. This gathering is considered to be one of the largest and most prestigious in the field of dentistry. The Rockland-based Dentist appeared in two different sessions; one, an address to industry leaders and another, a hands-on work session.
“It’s my honor to share my experience of more than 35 years in the dental profession, particularly at this highly regarded, internationally recognized event,” stated Fier, “If we all share our knowledge, it is the patients who< benefit in the end.”
The purpose of Fier’s general address was to teach doctors about the newest techniques and materials in the field of dentistry, i.e. tooth-colored materials for restoration.
In addition to his ADA delegation, Fier recently presented at the American Society for Dental Aesthetics in San Antonio, Texas and in Buffalo, New York at the Buffalo/Niagra Dental Meeting. The next trip is scheduled for later in November at the Greater New York Dental Meeting at the Jacob Javits Center.
Fier speaks all over the globe, often providing innovative solutions that are then adapted in many countries, including the United States. Fier was also featured this year on the front cover of the dental industry’s most highly regarded publication DENTISTRY TODAY in the June, 2010 issue. The< feature article in the magazine is entitled “Solving Dilemmas in Clinical Practice.” In the article, Fier wrote about innovative ways in which dentists can find the best solution for their patient’s issues when there are several options. In the DENTISTRY TODAY article, Fier highlights one case of a woman who experienced a transformation from a less than perfect smile to a beautiful result that changed her life.
