Septodont has donated more than $75,000 worth of its Toothfairy Pit & Fissure Sealant to America’s ToothFairy: National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF). The products were distributed to 10 nonprofit clinics to support preventive services for children in need.
“It is essential that nonprofit clinics have the necessary resources such as ToothFairy Pit & Fissure Sealant in order to provide preventive services for underserved youth,” said Paul Mondock, Septodont president of the Americas and NCOHF board member.
“By partnering with America’s ToothFairy to meet this need, Septodont was able to support programs reaching over 118,000 underserved children across five states,” Mondock said.
“We rely on donations received through our partnership with NCOHF to provide dental care for children living in economic despair,” said Dirk Alvarado of Sonrisas Dental Health in Half Moon Bay, Calif, which was among the recipients. “This donation of Toothfairy Pit & Fissure Sealant from Septodont will help us improve oral health outcomes for the children we serve.”
“We are very grateful to Septodont for their generosity and continued support of our mission and our nonprofit clinical partners,” said Jill Malmgren, NCOHF executive director.
“We are focused on access to care, prevention, and education. This sealant donation will help our member clinics provide essential dental care for low-income families and prevent future oral health issues for many children,” Malmgren said.
