Dentists looking to get away while earning some continuing education credits can take advantage of Smiles in the Sun 2017, scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 through Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Resort at Long Boat Key Club on the gulf coast in Long Boat Key, Fla. The program will feature internationally known speakers tackling multiple disciplines for 18 hours of CERP/PACE approved credit, including:

  • Dr. Howard S. Glazer on “I Have It… You Need It! New Materials & Techniques”
  • Dr. Thomas E. Dudney on “Diagnosing and Treating the Worn Dentition” and “Smile Design Principles: The Keys to Success in Achieving Aesthetic Results”
  • Dr. Roy H. Sonkin on “Lasers and Forensics: The Common Denominator”
  • Dr. Zachary Sonkin on “Implants for the General Practitioner: Concepts and Clinic Practice”
  • Tennli Nelson, vice president of Solution Reach, on “Motivating Existing, Reactivating Lost, and Acquiring New Patients from A to Z with Digital Communication”

Social functions will include a welcome reception, fishing tournament, and sunset beach barbeque. Sessions will be scheduled for the mornings, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy the resort in the afternoon. Access by air is available via the Sarasota, Tampa, and Regional Southwest airports.
