Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Bruce S. Fine is recognized as a top pinnacle professional for his contributions to the field of comprehensive family dental care.
Dr. Fine graduated from Muhlenberg College, where he earned a bachelor of science degree. Subsequently, he obtained a DDS from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and completed several fellowships, including an FAGD at the Academy of General Dentistry, FICOI at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and FIALD at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. He has also received a mastery award (AADSM) from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Many of his patients include doctors, dentists, assistants, and hygienists from various dental practices, as well as patients from China, Israel, South Africa, and other countries.
His current focus is on assisting those in need who have lost some or all of their teeth, as well as those experiencing failing teeth. Recent advancements in dental implants now offer more comfortable and cost-effective solutions for these issues.
Following Dental School graduation, he was employed by his Professor and taught at Georgetown University Dental School. Dr. Robert Gregg II, his good friend from dental school, invented LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) to eliminate gum disease, a technique he has been employing for quite some time. LANAP regenerates lost bone and eliminates the bacteria responsible for bone destruction. In comparison to traditional gum disease treatment, where specialists used to cut down the gum and bone around the tooth to the depth of bone loss, LANAP is a less invasive approach. Since 1989, Dr. Fine has been heavily involved in dental implants, working on All on X cases, hybrid dentures, denture stabilization, individual tooth replacement, and implant-supported roundhouse bridges. He has also been conducting CBCT 3D scans for nearly 15 years, offering higher diagnostic accuracy with half the radiation of common 2D full mouth x-rays. Dr. Fine was the first dentist on the East Coast to perform the Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation. Additionally, he has provided dentistry for the underserved through the Wayne Township Health Department and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Wayne Township.
Before the pandemic, he collaborated with Dentistry from the Heart, a global non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care for those in need. Dr. Fine has supported St. Jude’s Hospital, Wayne school bands, Wayne PAL, and various local charities. In private practice, he offers comprehensive family dentistry, covering implants, cosmetics, Invisalign, crowns, bridges, dentures, whitening, sleep apnea devices, and nightguards. He has been honored with numerous Americas’ Best Dentists Awards, NJ Top Dentists recognitions, and other accolades. He remains dedicated to his philosophy of “love what you do and care for those people that need your help.”
With over 39 years of experience in the field, he expresses his goal: “My aim is to provide patients with the best possible care and comfort. I love dentistry, whether I’m giving someone a beautiful new smile, restoring full function to a patient’s dentition, or preventing cavities and gum disease from recurring.”
Dr. Fine acknowledges Dr. Robert Gregg, Dr. John Chao, Dr. Gordon Christensen, and Dr. Todd Shatkin as his mentors.
Looking ahead, Dr. Fine plans to expand the practice and continue providing excellent patient care. Beyond his professional endeavors, he founded Wayne AZA and remains actively involved. He also enjoys traveling, particularly spending time with his family at Disney World.
