Harnessing artificial intelligence to create an effective and completely personalized brushing experience, the power toothbrush is designed around patients’ unique brushing habits, sensing brushing style and adapting as they clean to provide an optimum, personalized cleaning experience. As patients brush, SenseIQ technology senses, adapts and cares for their teeth and gingiva, offering a customized brushing experience with real time feedback. Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige uses sensors to detect the pressure patients apply, the cleaning motion they use and the coverage they achieve, up to 100 times per second.
It then adapts automatically by adjusting intensity when it senses patients pushing too hard, to help prevent gingival damage.

Philips Sonicare technology is designed to improve patients’ brushing habits over time and brush away plaque gently and effectively, by creating up to 62,000 bristle movements per brushing cycle and dynamic fluid action to help clean hard-to-reach areas, leaving their mouth feeling exceptionally fresh and clean.
Patients can also pair Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige with the Philips Sonicare app, available for free download in the App Store and Google Play Store. The Philips Sonicare app is powered by artificial intelligence and offers patients real-time guidance, feedback on pressure, cleaning motion, duration and frequency.
It also provides users with progress reporting throughout the day, week, month and year; personalized brushing recommendations to show patients how to achieve their best oral health; and auto syncing so that brushing data is always up to date.
