uLab enables on-demand, customized branding for orthodontists who want to promote their brand to patients. Custom logos come printed on the product packaging and the retainer case.
Orthodontic offices now have the flexibility to specify the preferred destination for subsequent retainer orders after confirming the fit of the initial set during an office visit as part of the treatment plan. This enhancement streamlines the retentive treatment process, offering increased convenience for both patients and offices. Patients requiring replacement retainers while away at college, after relocating, or those with hectic schedules can avoid an additional trip to their orthodontist’s office. Swift and convenient access to replacement retainers can significantly contribute to preventing relapse. The choice to ship subsequent retainer orders to an address other than the practitioner’s office is presented as an option during the check-out process.

Tools such as digital bracket removal, lingual bar settings and the ability to create active retainers give orthodontists a breadth of flexibility not available on other aligner platforms. Retainers can be created by the office and printed in-office or sent to the uAssist service and ordered from our US-based manufacturing facility. The option to ship appropriate retainer orders to an alternate address is available in versions of uDesign 7.3 and later.
