The Yankee Dental Congress returns to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center January 31 to February 2, 2019. Presented by the Massachusetts Dental Society, New England’s largest dental meeting will be held in cooperation with the dental societies of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Nearly 27,000 dental health professionals and guests are expected to attend.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Inspiring Innovation,” exemplifying how dental professionals can get inspired by industry-leading speakers and innovative continuing education opportunities for clinical development to energize their passions and fuel advances in the dental field.
The Morning Huddle at Yankee will feature “Science and Strategies for Managing Oral Systemic Inflammation,” a course detailing strategies for maintaining optimum overall health and decreasing inflammation. Also, the “Eating Disorders: Food for Thought” interprofessional symposium will review the diagnosis and treatment process for eating disorders.
Yankee also will feature a special track of courses for new dentists designed to help them learn from experienced practitioners and network with their peers. And, the CE Recharged program will use an upscale premium format in the BCEC Ballroom, with February 1 sessions on digital and aesthetic dentistry led by Henry Schein and another on achieving whole-mouth health for patients through coaching from Colgate.
Along with more than 300 CE and hands-on courses and events, the conference will feature “The Yankee Fast Track: Synergistic Digital and Analog Approaches to Esthetic Implant Therapy,” exploring why, when, and how to incorporate digital dentistry for efficient, productive, predictable, and optimal implant clinical outcomes.
Plus, the latest dental technologies and products from more than 400 exhibitors will be showcased along with several education pavilions in Exhibit Hall. Special presentations will include Joe Gatto, celebrity chef and host of From Scratch, and bestselling author Julia Glass.
